Elie Venezky
Founder, Prestige Prep
Elie Venezky graduated from Wesleyan University in 1995 and moved to New York City to become America's next great novelist. While waiting for his imminent Pulitzer Prize, he began tutoring for standardized tests with a private New York company. He discovered a passion for helping families through this difficult time and a knack for connecting with students and giving them the knowledge and confidence they needed to succeed.
Elie founded Prestige Prep in 2004 with the philosophy that that succeeding on a standardized test takes more than formulas and test taking tips. Students must know when and how to apply these formulas. They also need the stamina to focus through an exhausting exam and the confidence to work through difficult problems. With this approach, Elie has helped hundreds of students maximize their potential on standardized tests and gain admittance to top schools.
Elie resides in Brooklyn, New York. In addition to Prestige Prep, Elie founded and currently runs The Prestige Foundation, a non-profit tutoring organization which provides test preparation courses for underprivileged public school students in the five boroughs of New York.
